(Links to specific sessions will become live when open registration begins in January 2018)

Little Hawks Discovery Preschool is a nature-based preschool operated by the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway (ODCMG). The mission of the Little Hawks Discovery Preschool is to provide a quality early childhood experience that prepares young children to be active, independent learners who will have a lifelong connection to the natural world.

A significant portion of each preschool session is spent outdoors, in all weather.  Our facility includes world-class nature playscapes, three classrooms designed for nature-based learning, and access to the ODCMG’s 155-acre nature preserve. Our daily routine includes outdoor play, group meeting, hike, small groups, snack, indoor play and music. Learning is active, child-centered and play-based – perfectly suited for the developing preschool brain!

We believe Little Hawks Discovery Preschool offers a unique preschool experience that has benefits for all children and prepares them for school and for life.

Eligibility for Little Hawks Discovery Preschool is determined by the child’s age on September 1st in the year of enrollment. The program year runs from mid September to mid May.

For the 2018/19 year, we will be offering the following sessions:
